Bakin' Up Some... Love!

Well... I'm finally back!  I know I've been talking for sometime now about returning to blogland, but as some may know... my time has been very limited, like most.  But I've felt a tugging at my heart to bounce back & reconnect with old souls... so here I am!  Things here maynot be upto par, but as time allows I plan on tiding up & making the blog more creative, but for now... Let's start bakin' up some... Love!

1st... I just had to set my mood alittle & how to do that by none other then... flowers, daisies at that (pick up some at your local grocery).  They bring warmth to the home these cold, winter days & gets me somewhat motivated, now we know I need that!

Let me inform you... I happened upon this idea online last year & was such an enjoyment & treat, I just had to make them again this year.  A great way to use up those leftover candy canes!

Very easy... BUT be VERY cautious these little things will melt before your eyes... mine did!  You will need: small candy canes, sucker sticks (found in the baking section at grocery) & cookie sheets. As you can see... I used what I had on hand, skewer sticks that I cut in half & they worked just great! Preheat oven at 200 degree, place candy canes with sticks inbetween bottom of heart, slide into oven VERY
careful & STAY planted at the oven door, they will melt FAST, I'm talking seconds! Remove them & immediately press candy cane around stick.

Now you have... Valentine's Day suckers... you will definitely be Bakin' up some... Love with these sweet treats!

Hoping each of you... a Warm & Happy Valentine's Day!

-Sincerely Pamela
