Well, folks... it's Monday & the wheel starts
ALL over again!  Rolling down the path that's set
before us... will you OR I take the path that's
less traveled OR will we settle for the easy, carved
out one whom MANY take?

We ALL have the same allotted, time frame...
it's WHAT we allow ourselves to create
within those moments that can bring
life OR death to the soul!

And that brings me to the words from '©My Apron Pocket'!

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things
of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the
things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; bur to be
spiritually minded is life and peace.

I've had this scripture for sometime & didn't
plan on using any sort from '©My Apron Pocket' today,
but JUST share a sweet message from the shoppe.

WELL... when God's in control... I shall follow!
As I started hitting the keyboard... the
above words flowed... SO I grabbed for my tied bundle
of index cards that's nestled inside '©My Apron Pocket'
looking for a choice verse & there at the top of
the stack I found... Romans 8:5-6.

We TRULY serve an ALMIGHTY God,
whom knows ALL things!

1st Annual 'Winter Workshop'... '2014'

Winter GREETINGS... from the farm!

With the days of winter being SO bitter cold here, along with being coupled with cloudiness that can & WILL happen to hinder the least of energy's  that (you OR I) could muster-up in a day!
As the season passes, we sometimes find ourselves longing for an outing OR gathering that  would bring us back into focus!  
One with the same company of others...  in a warm, inviting place... learning OR creating a new hobby, while  savoring the last, scrumptious bite of a dish that was  specially prepared for the occasion!
And THAT... my friend is WHAT'S being offered here at the farm... Saturday, February 15th... 11AM til 2PM 'EST' PRICE PER SEAT: $45.00
1st Annual 'Winter Workshop'
Parties attending will come prepared to learn various techniques in creating their  VERY own painting on a board, all the while... watching as I actually paint a section of the kitchen, back splash inside my own home using the same painting techniques that will be taught!
A light, seasonal luncheon will be served, all materials will be supplied, along with a complimentary pattern for the taking!
Space is VERY limited for this WORKSHOP, due to the reason of it being inside my home!
ONLY '8' SEATS will be available  for this upcoming 'Winter Workshop' inside my home!
*The FIRST of '8' that are PAID  will be added to the attendance sheet! Sign-ups start IMMEDIATELY...

The SWEETEST encounter...

Bright & EARLY this morning, I slumber to the kitchen
to push the button for the coffee to start flowing & then
I proceed as I ALWAYS do... going from window to window,
opening them up to the start of another day!

The living room is normally my last stop & as I was
gently sliding the curtains back... to my
wondering eyes appeared... the dearest, little rabbit!
She was standing there as if she had
something to say... OR was lookin' for someone.
For a moment her head would nod from
one direction to the next, then in an instant she noticed
 I was peering out the window, she lingered
for JUST a bit longer & then she was
well on her way!

YOU see... even though this is farmland OR
the country, some might say, we seldom
have visitors as such... SO to say the least, I was 'JOYED'
with this SWEET encounter!

Tuesday... GREETINGS from the farm!
Hoping this finds you well & on your way about the day...
for there's much to be said, when those
words stand TRUE!

I'm believing many of you may know
that '2013' will forever hold a 'fondness' for 
me & a lose that has literally left 
me out to wander.  

You see... the 'fondness' is for the year, itself,
that I was grated '2013' to have those 
last days holding her hand, sipping coffee in her
quaint, little kitchen & seeing her beautiful smile
when she glanced up from her quilting frame.

And the lose of my precious mother... well, please
JUST keep allowing me to share the words
of comfort that happen to come from...

Winter 'blues' OR 'mood'...

Well... it's winter & today is NO exception!
There's a cold, rigid wind blowing & I've seemed
to NOT be able to warm my toes, which has
given me the bouts of winter blues OR should
I say... winter 'mood'!
                                                 

It's been a whirlwind of snowflakes today,
BUT they vanished as quickly as they scattered about!
The vintage star is in the form of a SNOWFLAKE
making it supreme for the winter months!

As well as these... snow-covered, miniature trees,
whom are finding their way into Miniature Gardens
as we speak, JUST in time for a SPECIAL
Valentine on your list!

Hoping you a LOVELY day from the farm...

Winter Days @ Their BEST!

I had JUST for a moment a snippet of LOVE
to share with YOU, my sweet friends!
By telling... I do declare, you know
what's been at hand here in the farmhouse!

A tad of knitting & a bit of baking...
ONLY you will see during the winter days!

And we ALL know a home's NOT 
a home til the cake dish is filled!

This evening... it will be the BEST of the BEST
in what's called... 'PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE'!

I just stepped away from my daily duties to
stop in for a short visit. YOU see... I have MANY
happenings to share with YOU my friend
in the coming days, months... heck the
whole year through!  Not only the events, 
workshops & farm hours are there to tell,
BUT I want to share the lady, the soul, 
God's child that is behind what YOU
see here daily on social media!  

My hope is for EACH & EVERYONE to anticipate
'2014' to be their year of fullness; to become
whole within; to know that YOU do have a
SAVIOR beyond what this world has to offer
& to be one's self... to remain faithful to YOU!
